Living in Mercer County
Mercer County offers residents a flexible and convenient place to live, with many choosing to reside locally, in Central New Jersey, or in the greater Philadelphia area. With easy access to major highways, commuting is straightforward and allows residents the flexibility in choosing a living environment that fits individual preferences. The region offers mix of urban, suburban, or more residential settings and combines the accessibility of a central location with diverse housing options, vibrant communities, and all within close proximity to both Philadelphia and New York City.
Our program recognizes that residents have important responsibilities and priorities outside of work. We are committed to supporting personal wellness and ensuring residents can attend to their individual needs while meeting the demands of training. In addition to vacation and sick leave, residents benefit from multiple rotation blocks each year that offer meaningful scheduling flexibility. Each resident is also paired with a dedicated faculty advisor who provides ongoing mentorship and active support, particularly when challenges may arise.
